Baji Koen JRA Equestrian Park

The horse concerned human beings such as the agriculture,
pasturage and then the battle from the old days.

It is possible to say that they had divide the enough power among the human being,
that the history grew together as the partner .


The place which can do touch with the horse which is such a forceful partner
is the Baji Kouen of the green of 65,000 坪.


The Baji Kouen opened in 1940 because of the training-up of a rider,
the horse thing and the equitation promotion.

In 1964, the Tokyo the Olympic Games equitation racecourse event, too, was held in this park.

This park is private which depends on JRA ( the Japanese center horse racing meeting )
but is open free of charge.

The horse of the thoroughbred, Anglo Arab species, Arab species and so on lives here.

There are many facilities such as the stabl and the clinic in the green site
The whole park comes " the city of the horse".

At this park, a lot of flowers bloom through the year.
In spring,Jpanese aprikot(ume),cherry blossoms,tulip,wisteria...
In summer,roses,sweet flag,hydrangea...
Specifically, there are more than 800 cherry trees

By it, we do the kindness of the nature in the fruit sense.
We can not hear the voice of the other person in the pasture and the woods.
We can hear the sound by the treetop and the leaf of the trees trembled by the wind.
